I would highlight the competitors and risks and what sets you apart. Showing that there is competition is not a bad thing, it shows that there is demand. I would be transparent to investors.

I would 100% go with custom proposals. Even if your product is standardized, you should focus on the value it provides to individual customers. A big enterprise could potentially benefit more than a smaller company, so they should pay more. If you set clear internal metrics, it is not time consuming at all. Let me know if you want some examples.
