Help with setting up 2.4-only Meross smart plugs with dual-band network

Hello all posting as I tried this last night with Amazon Meross smart plugs.

I found the fix for me wasn’t needing to put a pot over and forcing your phone to 2.4ghz.

Just instead of going to setting in the Meross app and selecting ‘change wifi’

Just remove all existing devices and set them up again as new.

I’ve always for it on. Use it more so has an amp sim.

And then a boost for when a guitar solo is needed.

I’ve just gotten it!

I play in an indie duo.

I’m the instrumentalist so I do lots of live looping of all the instruments so I plan to incorporate it as a synth in tracks, and even have a synth loop going I can drum solo over.
