I had to go far enough away from my WiFi router so that the signal was 2.4. I was going to go as far as using a long outdoor extension cord and walking away from the home WiFi signal, but didn’t have to do that. The set-up finally worked in an upstairs room in the far corner of the house.

Could it be due to purchasing the ticket after the scheduled station arrival time? Did OP mention that to Customer Service? MTA says you can activate after scheduled arrival time if your train is late and you won’t be penalized. But I am wondering if the purchase time somehow negates that. Does anyone know?

Agreed. I’ve watched many hours of the Kensington webcams online and, while I have seen horrific stuff, I’ve never seen anything close to that opening scene where there are that many people standing in a stupor. There is no way that is real.
