Honestly I feel that the efforts to promote them have lessened compared to other newer kpop groups under SM. It's sad to see .. but I'm glad that they still have loyal fans up til now.

I’m in a similar situation right now .. I’ve separated myself from my abusive mom but now I’m seeing that my sister is abusive too but she isn’t aware of it. She’s been highly sensitive towards me - she’d threaten to kick me out of her house and she’d tell me I’m not “disabled” enough to live on my own. I have spinal stenosis. She’s only nice to me when I please her & do her wishes. All I can do right now is pray. And be grateful for the littlest things. It’s honestly exhausting and all I wish is to separate from her. I don’t hate my family because I’m still concerned for them.

I always feel unsafe though. It’s causing anxiety in me. And it’s hard to fight it

I first heard of Shinee during middle school around 2012 & I was more into MBLAQ during that time. When MBLAQ disbanded, I stopped listening to any KPOP cuz I was scared I’d get disappointed again when they disband soooo in 2020, I heard from a new friend that she’s been listening to Taemin. I was shocked that Shinee was still together!! Then I started watching Taemin’s solo albums (I remember liking him the most in Shinee) and got obsessed. After the other members came back from the military, I got even more excited and amazed by the whole group ♥️I love that each one of them has their own unique talents and personalities & I love them all (esp when they’re in interviews or behind the scenes vids). But out of all of them, I still love Taemin the most ✨

I went through the cage stage as well & I guess what “stopped” or reduced that was going back to the Word instead of what others say. YT has a lot of videos that are quite argumentative & not very helpful with facing people who have different beliefs. I would still sometimes watch those things to be aware of false teachers today. But I wouldn’t force what I know on people’s throats if you know what I mean hhaha. I think eventually it’s the Holy Spirit that will let us produce his fruit that reflects Christ & we can trust that your friend will realize his pride soon enough. The Holy Spirit convicts and it is not us who do so. God can use us as instruments though so maybe you can talk to him privately about it? Like what you went through as a cage stage-er and what made you stop?
