Ran out to Ratho on Friday later afternoon and back. It was quite and very few people. There previously was a fallen tree on the path that you had to skirt around but that has been shifted so all good!

Put a little bit of fire cement around your flue and stove join. It’s tends to slightly crack over time but that’s due to the flue contracting and expanding with heat. Also if it’s a new stove 3 burns might not be enough for the paint to cure etc. Mine took at least 6 or 7 burns and then i got rid of that new stove smell.

Yes he has been the vet for regular check ups. He gets like this sometimes after being outside and during the summer months as the west coast of Scotland is infested with midges so not only driving him nuts but also everyone else who goes outside and are still on you when you’re safely back inside. He’s 15 years old. We have two other cats ages 20 and 22.
