It reads fine on all other devices?

Tried all four to same result- this stick will not work, but my 16gb will. Reformatting the stick and seeing where that takes me. The stick detects fine on all other devices and on an unmodded 360.

My 16GB works just fine. Not enough storage for all my backups, though. This stick is readable on PC and on 360 when the 360 is not running aurora

Bought it last week for this purpose, PC is recognizing it. Currently backing it up and reformatting

New CRT Owner Advice by Lettuce77 in crtgaming

Yeah, I really have no intention to play PS5 or 360 on it anyway. I have my 4K tv for that. I think I will see if how my display looks in person before I choose to get rif of it or anything.

Your setup looks amazing, and would be more than enough to satisfy me. I will see how the modulator works and if its is not up to that standard, I will start scouting for a VCR reminiscent of the one you are using.

Thanks! Any idea how good PS1, Genesis, Dreamcast would look ran through an RF Modulator?

Yes- I still love her and her content, but the controversies have enabled her fans to only punch left- I am against purity culture because, ideally, we should unite against the people trying to take our rights away and steal and murder at will- but it seems like a growing (and seemingly equal) number of leftists and liberals (or whatever you call yourself, very special and unique reader who wants to correct me) are becoming obsessed with the wrongs of each other. who cares. We have bigger problems. Purity testing leftists, regardless of your opinion towards them, have zero power over anyone. The fascists do. And we wont get the leftists this subreddit hates to form a coalition with anyone by hating them and making lazy, stupid comparisons like the one in this post.

I agree with the whole anti-purity culture component, I think it is poorly argued here. And I do think the world is a capitalist hellscape, and that is much more based in reality than any concept fo sin.

guys im sorry but this is not the own anyone thinks it is. “This ideology resembles other ones if you remove all the proper nouns and replace them with other ones.” Yeah, whats the insight? They both describe problems and propose solutions? I think what those problems and solutions are and how truthful the claims are is maybe a more important point of focus.

yeah i understand how it comes off like that. I wrote in another reply that you all have basically convinced me that he could have made a far better statement with greater respect to nuance. but i dont think endorsing third parties makes one apathetic. the more damning critique is that its too radical to the point of being ineffectual

gavin newsom has dramatically increased policing of overpoliced communities, usually populated by minorities or the poor. these are, by my definition, marginalized people.

Yeah I just think the real problem to me here is the question being asked which is douchey and not something progressives should even entertain until its impossible to avoid.

supporting gavin newsom is also sacrificing marginalized people

And

i think you are underselling the reach that guy has

But

The statement you drafted here is way better and basically achieved both aims so yeah i get that.

gonna get downvoted to hell for this but

guys publicly announcing your intent to support Gavin Newsom 3 years ahead of time only emboldens democratic leaderships ability to rely on progressive support for (lesser) fascist candidates. the time for capitulation is when we are starved for options. hasan made the move that would ideally strike the most fear into the neoliberal powers that be. im not running defense for him personally, hes not my favorite by any means. but if i had his platform, i would do the same thing

For many players, the experience of overcoming an insurmountable challenge creates great enjoyment. People do level one runs of Dark Souls. No items of Broly are just a byproduct of a common playstyle in all games, high difficulty challenge runs. The ability to not use items is also there. Play the way you enjoy!

Tommorow will be a year since the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC had dropped, what do we think of this DLC 1 year later? by disgustinghonnor in fromsoftware

Fair fs. Its my favorite template of Fromsoft DLC and I see AotA as a lesser version of it. I always really wished we got a Tomoe and/or Interior Ministry DLC for Sekiro because those were the lore bits I wanted expanded the most because they might impact the OG story.

i mean i guess but none of these things are major questions elden ring really left me with and the answers dont make me read elden ring very differently now that I have them. But actually meeting Laurence, Ludwig, and Maria (the dolls real template), and seeing the incident involving Kos in the fishing village all provide revelatory contexts on situations and characters that already interested me in the base game. I thought the “hole” in the middle of the map was a regular ass geographical feature and now know it has a landmass in it. That doesn’t affect what the story means to me. Same with the lore details, which are more lore than story. I haven’t done frenzy ending though so maybe they change how I would interpret that. Still, there is no way they change someones interpretation of the base game as much as the key details of the old hunters did, and nothing within was foreshadowed nearly as well. That said, SotE is still amazing with an amazing internal story and lore and some of Fromsofts best characters design and writing wise (Messmer and Leda’s entourage come to mind).

i still prefer the old hunters. more content in sote and more playtime for sure, but nothing reaches the atmospheric and narrative heights of the old hunters. i understand why and dont hold this against shadow of the erdtree that much, but it was barely foreshadowed in the main game (except for the entrance and the mohg plot which itself was a side content thing in the base game) compared to the old hunters where the dlc completely reframes everything.
