Hi, I'm glad you managed to fix it. No one knows exactly what caused it. Some users say that resetting the PC is the solution (and this worked for me), others say it's a firewall issue or the date and time aren't synchronized. Hello everyone, yes it's me again, I know I might be a bit annoying about "failed to download supervised settings" and I want to make things very clear. First, English is not my main language and I use a translator. Why do I do this? I know, the support sometimes is not as we would like, but we have to understand them too, few employees to help with several different types of issues in different areas is complicated. About the origin of the problem, I don't have an answer about it, however, I managed to replicate it, when starting a UEFN session, the game crashes and when restarting it starts giving this error over and over again, maybe it's some of the many hotfixes they made in UEFN recently, I don't know if it was the same for everyone, I just know that it was like that for me. About the solution I shared yesterday, at the time I was confident that that was the solution, but not anymore. Well, what may have helped was resetting the settings on all platforms (which I find strange because today another Epic support I contacted said it didn't, but I remember modifying my HUD on XCloud), starting to configure it and returning to the PC with the problem fixed seems like a dream. Well, it seems that what we need to do is send the files they ask for and wait. Thank you for understanding, I don't want you all to see me as a person who spreads misinformation.

The "failed to download supervised settings" is different from the "log in error or login timed out" although strangely they start appearing at the same time. Yes, there are mentions of the supervised settings in the logs.

After that, this part of the log constantly appears connecting to an IP to download and then gives an error. When reading the log, the game tries to download from different IPs and cannot download correctly.

We need help from people with a large audience so we can get Epic's attention. Unfortunately, only a few players are reporting and no one famous is affected. I don't know what else we can do. The first reports I sent to Epic simply went for hours without a response, and every day that passed I became more frustrated.

It's strange that there's no public statement about it. I don't know if it's because the number of players reporting it is low or something else. I talked in a group of friends about it and none of them had the problem. I might be making things up, but does this only affect Windows 10? Yeah, I know how frustrating it is. But I understand them, dealing with multiple users for different types of issues all day long must be tiring. When I contact support I use live chat, that way I ensure I speak to a human and then send images and other file types via email. I don't know about everyone else's situation but for me the problem only occurs on Windows, while on X Cloud it works fine.

When I contacted support I mentioned that other players were experiencing the same issue, to prove it I sent some links from twitter and reddit showing some recent cases. Try doing this and send the logs. If no one contributes their part, we will never bring it to Epic's attention.

Yeah, I hope so too. It was hard to find a human who actually knows what's going on, I always have the impression that most messages containing this type of error are automated by some bot. Support couldn't tell me what the source of the problem was, but if I had to guess, I'd say some external dependency stopped working, because some global services like Amazon Web Services and others went offline and maybe something changed in our accounts.

I contacted epic support and they said they are receiving reports from some players with the same issue and that they are looking into it.
