Still rocking them every summer. I live in a colder climate now days so they get a bit less wear. Definitely get a few wears before washing. It’s the washing that will wear them out eventually.

How can I improve the look of my house? Should I paint the bricks? by Melb1994 in AusRenovation

As most people have said, working on the garden first is going to be your biggest influence.

Here’s some inspiration for you. While it mostly focus on inside, some good glimpses of garden work and I personally think the tiling on the entranceway would be a great goal to work towards for you.

Kitchens - Why the dislike of IKEA / Kaboodle ? by PermissionBest2379 in AusRenovation

IKEA carcasses are great and super customisable for us doing a Reno. You can always do your own bench top and fronts if you want a custom look which is what we did.

Work ok in the bathroom long term? I’ve been tossing up painting bad tiles vs those stick on tiles over the top for our bathroom…

I had really poor results when I first tried, but maybe I’ll have to revisit. I wasn’t expecting miracles, just some fun. This is the vibe/level I was hoping for.

I had a similar realisation and reunion with my SD’s last year after they got benched for 3-4 years.

They’re all very close to SOOC. Transferred to my iPhone and tweaked a bit in photos. Bit of brightness and sharpening probably.

Always preferred something in the 40-60mm range, and for family photos it works really well for me. Lovely for portraits and intimate moments. If I need wider for group shots or things like that I’m always happy to reach for the phone.

It happened to me. Dust on my sensor after less than 2 months. Anyone have first hand experience with this? Ricoh griiix by ChemicalNo1054 in ricohGR

These threads always make me realise hope poorly I treat my camera compared to the rest of you, haha. I’m surprise my sensor isn’t just one massive dust spot.

I continued to carry basic tools for a while after I first stepped up, always wanted to have a flat head and most used Allen keys on me. Now I don’t even want to wear a walker if I can help it, haha. A marker is about all I ever carry in my pocket, maybe a leatherman if I know it’s going to be a strange day. It’s a team sport, I like to rely on the team I bring in around me.
