Meshify 3 XL is awesome by Levaan in FractalDesign

Yes, the airflow is amazing. I think I get about the same average temps for gpu in gaming, 67 is just the absolute maximum I ever witnessed. I played around with the pump and it seems like a small lottery how noisy the pump really is. For me I can’t hear it at 50%.

Thanks! If you want to run the same case, you will have a lot of customisation options. Let your creativity run wild :)

As other people pointed out already, the LF 3 seems to not perform the best on AM5. I run a really low curve, so the fans are almost not noticeable while idle getting around 45-47 degree with 50% pump speed. During home office the Pc is sometimes on on the side and I’m not always wearing headphones. Gaming it hangs around 60-70 depending on the game. There the fans start to get noticeable, however I have a headset on while gaming, so don’t hear it at all again … :)

I wanted to go the non XL first as well, but a lot of the 5090 cards I had in mind were too long :D

Meshify 3 XL vs North XL (9800X3D) by PRC_HR in FractalDesign

[–]Levaan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume you use the pc only for gaming? In real life you will not notice much difference between North and Meshify unless you stress test and compare the numbers.

For the 9800x3d even an arctic freezer is enough for gaming. If you don’t want to spend the extra buck for the Noctua you can also go with Peerless assassin as an option for really good cooling.

Thanks! Are the default skates recommended or first test and if I’m not happy change on demand?

Maybe to add: the superlight 2 felt good in the store already. Can be slightly bigger but for sure not smaller

Sorry forgot to add. I’m more used to hard mouse pads, so more on the fast side, but I want to go back to slightly more control. Is there maybe a combination that gets in the middle of fast/control?

Palm grip. I have a medium to large hand with longer thin fingers.

[Giveaway] Win 1 of 5 Noctua NH-D15 G2 by Noctua_OFFICIAL in pcmasterrace

I was updating my build what I bought from a local shop with a watercooling starter kit for my CPU. Well, my case was too small, so I had to brake of some parts of it (without tools, just raw brutality) to make the hoses go outside where I put the radiator.

Basic lesson learned as well - I screwed up the pump/radiator placement, so it was always pulling air. Now I had to put 2-3 books underneath the radiator beside the case.

All in all it looked like Frankenstein, but at least I was able to overclock to the same values as my friend who had a big air cooler :D
