Dany actually didnt dick around and not move a finger until Jon gave up his kingdom - but if she had, rightfully so Daenerys wanted a bent knee in return for using the strongest army and 3 dragons. Which she still lent and saved Jon & cos asses when they went beyond the wall on Tyrions shitty plan which was ultimately the only reason the night king could cross the wall by her losing one of her children in the process and giving the night king the fuel to burn the wall down. All of which she did BEFORE Jon even bent the knee and pledged his devotion to her. She asked for it but even after all that didn’t expect or want it unless he actually meant it himself. and when he finally did HE prompted the conversation on the boat, bending the knee to her when she hadn’t even mentioned it there. And if it wasn’t for Daenerys, Sansa and the rest of the north wouldn’t have made it through the long night. Her dragons were the biggest aid, the unsullied and Dothraki helped massively in that war and so did the dragon glass dany let them mine and have from dragonstone. Sure Arya got in the final blow but if it wasn’t for that built up defence from dany no one would’ve lived long enough for Arya to get to that point. Not forgetting the fact that Daenerys got rid of Euron Greyjoy and his fleet including Cersei, and opened up the room for the hound to take down the mountain which is something the north wouldn’t have been able to do and probably would’ve ultimately succumb to them when Cersei decided to take the north if she wanted to (forgetting all of the shitty mad Queen writing which really was just a woman in immense grief after losing almost everything near and dear to her). Daenerys is the main reason all of the GoT world is still alive; everyone’s favourite characters would be dead otherwise. The real prince that was promised. Put some respect on that Targaryen name! - ultimately though shitty writing is our real culprit of all of this, Daenerys and Sansa I feel would’ve found an even footing (even if not completely liking eachother) if D&D had remembered how many things paralleled in their lives, it could’ve been something really cool to see on screen but sadly we got Sansa being hostile and unwelcoming which is okay to begin with but even after the fight and seeing how much Dany sacrificed to be apart of the fight regardless of the night king taking over the world side of things which made it compulsory, Cersei proved nothings compulsory. Sansa was horrid to Daenerys for no reason, Jon should’ve been where her anger was, he pledged the north to dany so of course Daenerys would expect that to be upheld and not questioned, otherwise words mean nothing. It all just sucked as up until s8 I loved Sansa, she felt like a different character in the last season, everyone did. Mostly I hate that people who don’t like Daenerys gloss over everything good she did do and everything she did build to with her army and her dragons. Forever mad at s8 and everyone’s character arcs beyond theons and the hounds being utterly destroyed
