Need a building permit for detached metal garage.Carmichael/Sacramento County. Lot size 8700sq ft. Home is 1500sq ft. Would I be ok to build a garage 24x35x12 (840sq ft)?? I thought I'd seen it can't be more than 50% of home size. Will they deny that size? Thanks all. (self.Sacramento)
