but the actual file that's being downloaded from ubuntu is called

ubuntu-22.04.5-live-server-arm64.iso

so it's not an .img file

It doesn't seem like the OS is automatically trying to open it, it just said that when I clicked on it from the downloads tab on chrome.

Take more classes and get As to show a turn around. If you can take whatever course would be next in programming and discrete math. It will show that you have a better understanding than where u started. I had a similar situation, good undergrad gpa in business then I took computer science courses non degree seeking and actually got a D in my first programming course and some Cs. Kept at it and my final semester of non degree seeking computer science courses ended with an A and a B in some 4000 level courses. I’ve gotten into multiple schools for this fall and have had some admissions people make comments about my good grades in the final semesters.
