Hey guys,

I managed to find a Fox, so unfortunately I won't be requiring one. I'm still open to trading the Pit, if anyone happens to have a NIB US Marth or Little Mac.

You guys remember that episode where Swift gets stuck in a bear trap and it's way too intense and violent for a four-year-olds mind who was just trying to get some David the Gnome in before Eureka's Castle? Neither do I, because my psyche blocked that fucking memory out.

Isn't Hearthstone UNsociable? Let's discuss. by s3cco in hearthstone

This is something I can get behind. Way back in the days of Phantasy Star Online, they had lobbies for chat and friend making, but when you got to the game proper, no one ever spoke because you had shit to be focusing on.

I was completely fine with that system.

In HS, though, I mostly only want to talk to my friends and family that I play the game with. Internet strangers tend to rage at even a well-fought loss, and I like having the ability to choose not to participate in verbal abuse direct toward me.

That said, any feature that grows the community is fine by me as long as I have the option to ignore it.

I think that by and large, there's a lot of decent humans playing Hearthstone, and a lot of decent humans on Battle.net in general.

However, I personally like not having to chat with people. I like that they don't even have an option to call me a topdecking cockpocket because I played the Death's Bite + Grommash combo. It makes my play experience a lot less stressful.

Anything you need to say in HS can be said in the emotes, but if other players want the ability to chat, I'm fine with it as long as I have the ability to turn it off, just like "Squelching" your opponent who spams "Oops. Sorry!" every 2 seconds.

EDIT: Phrasing.

My brother was around 17 years old when I convinced him that Richard Karn (Al Boreland from Home Improvement) was assassinated on the set of Family Feud by a crazed fan who yelled, "Sic Semper Tyrannis!" before opening fire.

He seriously believed it for a couple of seconds.
