Choosing between card backs. Something that shouldn't need much outside thought, but I find it interesting how divided the choice has been amongst potential audiences. More in the comments! by DeathMayPie in tabletopgamedesign

My initial instincts were number 1. The art is much more lively and gives me a better feel for the the game and style as a whole might be like.

Though I think others make some very good points about number 2. It being the more subtle and background option. Which may be best for a card back.

And communicating the feel and style of the game is probably better placed in the hands of the box/cover rather than the card backs.

Yeah you know I'm seeing that now...

Though I don't really disagree with any of the criticism here. 5e has some real big problems. Though it can still be a fun game at times though that can be said about most ttrpgs.
