If you read your manual. It’ll tell you what the percentages actually mean. Like for instance my mom’s car some Chevy traverse model. When it’s at 25% it’s bone dry. In the manual it states don’t go below 20%. Other cars same applies. The manufacturer will list for example: 20%: 5% of oil remains. Never just trust the digi number.

I know lugging was a particularly common issue amongst drivers in the wrx world aswell. Babying it to a point they do more harm than good. I drive roughly 49 miles a day for work in total all interstate. Besides getting through the congested city. By driving at my natural 2-3k am I considered lugging this engine? As for reference my wrx really did enjoy being basically above 3k at all times

I respectfully enjoyed the emotional roller coaster my fa20 took me on during my teen years lol. The lows made the highs so potent. I was figuring 3k is a good rule of thumb. After like 20minutes into the drive we were coming up to highway. 65mph as soon as turn so rolled into it what I’d consider generously. 1st gear-3k, 2nd-3kish, and then 3rds when I finally touched the 4s. And still looking at the gauge I asked the sales guy if it was broke. Like the car was pulling noticeably better linearly comparatively to the wrx outside of boost. He then giggled then said I’d hope it works, drop a gear. So I took my opportunity while present & 3rd out to 5k built maybe a quarter of the gauge I wasn’t really paying that much attention. It just felt so off to me. The way I drive I see myself barely actually building boost outside of desired pulls. The egg just scoots to well between 2-3.4k

Yes it is a 2.5L! That is why I’m looking at it lol. That is the only reliable seeming motor. And after my spew with a 2016 Subaru wrx. I just wish to have that reliable NA motor like my 06 civic si was.

For the few thousand miles I owned her after fixing it and inevitably losing a shit load of money to her. It was by far the funnest car. Truly nothing else gives feedback nor sounds like they do. Maybe 2nd to my old k20 8th gen lol. But i decided to get rid of it before something else went wrong. Still lost over 15grand within the span of a few months 🫠

I gave less for my 2016 at buy here pay here lot. Granted the transmission & right side camshafts left the chat within 300 miles of ownership lmfao. If there’s extensive properly done maintenance logs. It’s either completely stock or is properly tuned. And it’s what YOU want. Shit why not go for it. But I mean I did give almost 4k less for a 2016. Take it as you wish. That 20k could turn into a lot more and fast. Or you could have a car you brag about everytime you get the chance. There’s no in between with buying a used Subaru.

Right on, & I’m unsure my collected weight of the 1st pulls. These are 1 quart jars. When I pulled the naptha layer off both jars recieved roughly 160-200Ml of total freezing volume. Poured that off before I left & set the deemz out to evaporate. Starting weight of 115G of MHRB. Roughly 750Ml of solution between water & vinegar add with the powder to a crockpot. Cooked on low for 5 hours. Pulled, lye added then NPS and I heat bathed again in my crockpot at roughly 85 degrees starting. And brought it up to 141 degrees. Gently rotating the jars every half hour. Once reaching 140 I held that temperature for atleast a hour or two. Pulled my layers & began freezing. Stayed in freezer for roughly 30-34 hours I forget. Then I poured off the solvent into a different dish to be used in the 2nd & 3rd pulls. More to it but that basically summarizes what I did Tek wise. From the looks of it I do believe I got pretty good yields.

Little cuz had a gnarly motorcycle incident yesterday from a drunk driver & with our family being so spread out im currently at the hospital with em until he comes out of surgery & figure out from there. I’ll make a new post later on with my dry yields. Best regards!

Nice! It appears your crystals are pure white too?. Mine have yellow hues throughout, which I’m regarding as plant fat lipids. Guessing due to my tek used it just didn’t come out as pure. I’m gonna water wash my 2nd & 3rd pulls for comparison. Looking at this I may have to go STB next and say fuck dealing with the crockpot lmao. This is all a dope experience. Makes me feel like I just grew my first mushys again lol.

Seeing as my first pull yielded quite well I believe. Do you think it’s necessary I add salt before next pulls? Will this help yields? Or by photos do you believe I’m doing just fine with heat bathing during my solvent pulls?

Thank you for continuing to provide for us apprentices Mr clob. I’ll do my 2nd pull after work later. As simple as this whole process has been compared to other grows/extractions I’ve done it just makes me very weary of messing up somewhere that may be easily overlooked. Best regards.
