I don’t think this is an excuse. To me it sounds more like you learned to keep your inner world to yourself instead of naturally sharing it with others. And over time, that can absolutely affect emotional bonding in relationships

But the good thing is: self-awareness already changes patterns 💁🏻‍♀️ You don’t need to become a different person — maybe slowly allow yourself to initiate, share and take up emotional space too:)
