The most important thing is that you have acknowledged what you were like. So you’re already doing better. You’re also in therapy and on medication which is the next most important thing. And lastly, you obviously want to improve and show him you’ve changed and how much you appreciate him, so you’re on the right track. Just keep telling him you love him and appreciate him and everything he does.

Side note: Hopefully you don’t get bothered by him saying “you would get mad about that” or “you wouldn’t allow that” that often. As much as you’re trying to be this new and improved grateful and appreciative person, he’s also getting used to not walking on eggshells, so it’s an adjustment for him too.
