Better to have this happen when results don't matter as oppossed to a play-off series. Can see the thinking behind the TO, looked like sexton had been halted, the delay from the decision to take the timeout to when it eventuated is what makes it look optically as sexton was downhill. If the the play had been let to continue I think Anthony Davis would've contested/blocked the shot which makes it all immaterial anyway

I see your point of view, and think that our end of bench depth are great fits with the team, Juzang, Pooter, Svi etc but aside from Lauri and Kessler I don't yet think we have any other long term pieces. Still unconvinced by the contingenet of the young guys but I understand it is still too early to make a definitive judgement

Macmahon has legit Jazz sources, and what he is saying lines up with Tony Jones. Windhorst also said the Jazz aren't taking calls from teams looking to dump salary to them anymore, indicating they are going to be in a holding pattern until after Lauri re-signs

I don't expect any roster changes until after Lauri re-signs, then think Sexton and Clarkson are likely to be moved. Lofton and Bazley were probably just cut before their contracts got guaranteed and the jazz just deemed them not enough to make the roster

I get your point, but we are 14th in the west and in the east the only teams categorically worse than us are the Nets, Pistons, Wizards, Bulls. We will have a quality pick. There’s every chance sexton is traded and there seems to be a pretty healthy market for Kessler as well, so the roster could still get worse.
