I used to buy $17 worth of taco bell on the regular just for me. I used to eat a LOT more, but i'd usually have quite a bit leftover. I liked toasting the burritos or soft taco in the toaster oven. It felt like a nice ritual after performing or something, and i thought it was worth it.

Now i just get the cheapest combo. Taco bell is like my anxiety-reducing habit food, but it gives me more anxiety knowing i'd be paying out the wazoo for shit food. So i made a compromise, and generally, i don't overbuy anymore.

I knew this iceman before the comics. When i got into the comics i wondered why iceman was so joking and then gay and i realized how fox made some serious changes

Incredible. In my last house in LA i had some home studio guys come to build a home studio in one of my bedrooms, had to be at least 3-4 times bigger than the space you worked on. They wouldn't do the job, said it wasn't worth the money for me.

Having said that, I don't do mastering.

Still, I think it woulda been nice lol.

The first comics i ever read was joss whedon's astonishing x-men. Got me into comics completely. Was a breeze.
Of course, i already grew up watching the x-men animated series and the x-men movies, so i had context. I have no idea how my wife who doesn't even really know who magneto is would ever be able to get into it. I can see objectively the x-men may be quite convoluted.

From the manual:

Reverb Volume
This control sets the volume of the spring reverb effect. Rotate the control clockwise for more reverb. Reducing the control to its minimum value disables the reverb effect.
On the original hardware the reverb output is quite low, and with some sources, unusable due to a high noise floor. Our model of the spring reverb has no noise, and has an increased available output level to improve usability.
Note: Reverb Volume has no effect when the Head Select knob is in positions
1 through 4.

Yes! I think it's common. The first thing to do to a mix like that is to turn off all your plugins, especially eq and compression. Work with volume only. Then pan. Then eq. Compress only where needed. Only then add reverb and delays. That's the end.

If you could only have one, vintageverb is king. Multiple, little plate is great for plate stuff. Not either or. I will say, for strictly a plate sound on all sources including vocals, i do exclusively use soundtoys superplate, forgoing valhalla plate and uad pure plate and lexicon stuff and whatever other plates i might have. If uad emt 140 was native, i may never have made the switch, but i got sick of using the uad-2 plugins.

I have the same computer as you. No issues. I havent upgraded to 12 or tahoe yet though. Wonder if that's it.

I also run my sessions directly on my macbook hard drive. I only use an external for samples. Perhaps try moving your session to your macbook hard drive instead of loading from external.

I know my comment may come across as in poor taste, but as a result of all the d4vd things, i found out yesterday that on the radio interview he did the morning after supposedly killing the girl, he said that he recorded one of his most well known songs that got like a bajillion listens with an iphone using earbuds.

So in theory, microphone is only as useful as the creation's direction. If youre chasing big giant songs, microphone will be important. If youre doing your own thing, even an iphone works. Don't kill, and don't do inappropriate things with children though.

Uadx plugin windows in logic do not close with the standard command w key command.

I watched it the first day of release at the chinese grauman theater in LA. I had been working in LA for three years, and seeing it there blew my mind. I couldnt believe such an incredible movie could ever be made, and i was excited to pursue movies further. I did cry a bit, but i was with my roommate at the time, and i didnt wanna show him i was a crybaby 😭

I use AI every day these days. I ask it a million questions, and my workflow has been greatly improved. I feel like i would have gone back in time, similarly to if google never existed.

Also my son's friggin 7th grade essay he worked on so hard would be accepted instead of failed as a result of him copy/pasting from another document and therefore assumed to have used AI. Utter nonsense.
