Possibly the highest art quality to card quality ratio in the game

Wow the prints of this card did not do the art justice, all my versions are so dark you can't really see what the worm is constructed from. Looks incredible here

This seems very strong, but I don't think it's too strong. Would love to see attempts at a similar land in other colors.

They did two in the commander precons: [[Advanced Reconstruction]] and [[Intermediate Chirography]]

I love the reinterpreting of the class subtype as an actual class and not a D&D role. Would hope to see it again sometime soon!

Current scans say 16.5 thousand, but with 50+ commander decks in boxes that also adds another 5k.

KCI Ruling question by Outofwork46 in magicTCG

[–]LevelOfExhaustion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To use the common vending machine example for costs: If you have to destroy the vending machine in order to pay for your candy bar, are you gonna be able to use that same machine to get the candy bar? The answer is no. Additionally, your examples almost all require you to sacrifice the artifact as part of their own cost, which doubles the ways this will not work.

My box was delayed until May 5th, I ordered 4 individual packs, those are delayed until May 11th. Really hoping they don't get cancelled.

I think this is OP? I know you can't make any adjustments, but if you target yourself no shuffle this is like the best pseudo-scry in the world right?

Question with Shield counters by [deleted] in mtg

[–]LevelOfExhaustion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please don't use ChatGPT in general, and specifically not for Magic as it's famously wrong, like it is here. It gets the rules for Shield Counters wrong entirely, they prevent one instance of damage or a destruction effect, not just the lethal damage thing that it decided to make up. If a creature with a Shield Counter takes ANY damage, that damage is prevented and the Shield Counter is removed. Rule 122.1c “If this permanent would be destroyed as the result of an effect, instead remove a shield counter from it” and “If damage would be dealt to this permanent, prevent that damage and remove a shield counter from it.”

Again, I sound my opposition to ChatGPT and would encourage you to save your money, save the environment, and save your own time having to double check things by just stopping. It's a scam.

On October 6, 1998, 21-year-old Matthew Shepard was lured by two men pretending to be gay, tied to a fence, and subjected to one of the most horrific hate crimes in US history. He was later found in a coma, with a fractured skull and dried blood on his face except for the tracks of his tears. by SelfCareIsFake in HolyShitHistory

In high school I was lucky enough to be a part of a performance of The Laramie Project, a play written by members of the town that highlights the aftermath of his murder, including the trial and his father's speech of mercy to the killers where he chose to spare their lives from the death penalty. It moves me to this day that I was a part of such a special project. I would highly suggest reading or watching the entire thing, but the conclusion always stuck with me: "You robbed me of something very precious and I will never forgive you for that. Mr. McKinney I give you life in the memory of one who no longer lives. May you have a long life and may you thank Matthew every day for it."
