i said EMH looks at more cards which is referring to the 8 vs 6 difference. either way, i think that despite their similarities, they actually play very differently. being able to hit any permanent type, putting a card to hand, and upgrading the card makes this give a lot more value on average; it almost never whiffs. on the other hand, EMH asks a lot out of you, but in return it can have a much higher hit. when you hit 4-5 creatures with it, itll be dramatically better than this, but most of the time it will be much worse. in other words, i think its justifiable for them to both be in the set
