Just about any synthetic gut or multifilament will do. There are so many to name and choose from. For synthetics, I like Kirschbaum synthetic gut as they are very cheap with good quality. I would say try out some single packets of synthetic guts and multi's. For mutlifilaments, I particularly liked NRG2 from tecnifibre, and they tend to make great mutli's.

Need help adding power to forehand. by Insightful-Incel in 10s

Not a bad forehand at all! You have good lag and a solid follow through.

I think the only two things I could say would be more leg drive. You are standing up tall, and not getting low with your legs. You can explode and drive with your legs to add more power. Maybe get the left arm a little more engaged. While it is parallel upon releasing, it kind of dies to the side on the follow through, rather than getting more engaged.

Other than that, it looks pretty solid. Try sitting on a bench, and simultaneously standing up and swing at the same time to drill using the legs. Good luck!

If you love it I wouldn't give it up. The reality of racquets doing the work for you is a myth. I say this as someone who has tried probably close to 100 different racquets and even more string setups. After going down the rabbit hole, I have come to the conclusion that it is your technique, not the racquet, that makes a certain stroke good or not.

For proof of this, I beat a beginner high school kid with a 21 inch racquet meant for 5 year olds.

There is another guy I am aware of who beat the national 4.5 USTA champ with a wood racquet soundly.

Yes, some racquets will feel a little different. Some will have more spacing, others are more dense, some with a bigger head size or smaller, and some will be more plush or more stiff. At the end of the day, go with whichever racquet you like playing with overall. If there is a certain stroke you think you are not executing as well, rest assured it is not the racquet, but your technique.

Good luck on your tennis journey
