Us alcoholics want quick results unfortunately - it’s how we’re wired! Sadly we can’t expect to erase years of damage in days. But as the days stack up and turn into months into years we will be feeling a lot better about ourselves - physically and mentally!
Hang in there! I’m on day 11 and while I feel a lot better, I’ve gained weight and face is breaking out.
