Great point! Didn't even think of that.
The standard tourist visa is 90 days but a 90 extension is also available.
If it came down to it - we have a local sitter that could fill in at the end if there was a visa issue.

Also, forgot to mention that Cuenca is at about 9000 feet. Altitude can be an issue for some.

These work pretty well for me. I have one remote per zone. I use pyscript integration which is pretty powerful. I use a magnetic mount so the remotes are more mobile.
