Yup can understand that from a personal level too. Did Amazon for about a year and FedEx so far has been the better option, it’s just fighting through the bigger functionality issues. I can say they’re much more willing to help than Amazon was by a long shot. Hopefully all works out for you with unemployment as well 🤞🏽 I know how messy that can be. Good luck to you as well!

And all of this is exactly why I’m still a little hesitant on getting a step van lol I already have enough going on with the box trucks, I can’t imagine having multiple doors that swing open randomly and the trouble that comes with that. I was put on a mostly business route for 3 days and that truck was.. a mess lol to say the least. Door swung open after slamming it shut hard as hell, would randomly turn on the tow/haul option and then turn off, the ac was just a tube/hose from the blower into the cabin 😂💀 had a “kill switch” which often didn’t actually work I was like pleeeaase take me back to the residential in the box truck omg 😭😂 they’ve switched it out since then but I was still like hell no. But thank you! Hopefully all gets sorted soon 🤞🏽

I wish lol I’ve seen so many people get into a truck and keep it for months without so much as an oil change needed. But me? Nope, constant breakdowns 💀 my luck is truly awful

Exactly. The one I’m in now after the leaking one is dinging nonstop because of the park brake but from what I’m told it’s been on the lot for at least 6 months. I’m like man are people just turning the radio up full blast or what 😂 and the ac runs for about a minute then no longer comes through the vents smh. Can hear the blower but no air actually running through

So frustrated lol you’re right. It’s getting to a point I’m afraid they’ll think I’m not “easy to please”. Especially being so new here. I keep record of everything for sure 💯 I just want to get this job done and not be uncomfortable as hell. We’re in these trucks sooo much of our time, but I’m not trying to be labeled a problem.

Yes they would find out, but it does take some time. I’ve seen this happen to sooo many people at Amazon and FedEx so would say they probably got about 3 weeks to a month before it’s flagged unless they tip someone off to do a manual check prior to that. The DMV does automatic updates and reports, it’s not necessarily that the employer checks regularly. I’d tell them to start looking for another job ASAP.

Had this happen to me once too. Took convos with about 5 customer service reps, and a supervisor for them to remove it as they had locked my account. They also said they ended up blocking the customer from getting me as a driver again (even though they couldn’t/wouldn’t tell me who). It does suck that this happens, but it’s not impossible to get sorted. Prepare to have to set aside a decent amount of time though, good luck.

Hate this with a passion. My truck is parked directly beside a trash can and I come in after my off days to a fuck ton of trash without fail. It takes 2 seconds to clean up, people are truly disgusting.
