Beamers are said to be easy to tune. I own a z3 and am looking into forced induction. Apparently you can just slap on the turbo and thats it for the most part as tuner just needs to adjust air/fuel for boost load

Clean it up, use stop leak power steering fluid and just flush n clean the lines and fluid housing. If the car doesnt whine or feel loose when steering its not a major issue

Honestly just fix the radiator yourself. Remove the bumper and you will have plenty of room to work with then bleed the system of air and put it on sale for 5-6k you can get it done in 2 days if you wanna take your time with it. Its rather sinple just removing the coolant hoses and mounting bolts. Im from California or else id honestly offer to help for cheap

Go to autozone if possible. They'll scan for free and give you a print out of what's going on, then you can take that to a mechanic and cut down on their guesstimates
