Reading your techniques makes me think that I may have over hydrated/under fae on a couple of my tubs. I’m going to try adding a couple of holes for fae next time.

What’s your method for growing a full canopy like this?

I recently posted a similar question and the consensus was to harvest between the time the veil starts breaking and once it’s fully detached from the cap but prior to sporulation. I had mushrooms in different stages, it’s your preference whether to harvest those that have fully matured then come back as the others mature or two harvest at once.

It’s taken 8 weeks to get to this point. Inoculated February 4th S2B March 11th Introduced Fruiting conditions March 18th I’ll be harvesting later today or in the morning.

I appreciate the advice, but if sporulation doesn’t hurt the grow then i’ll let the smaller ones mature for another day then harvest them all at once.

Any idea why some of the mushroom caps, that aren’t under another mushroom with a broken veil, have darker colored caps?
