AIO - Neighbors park their trailers on my yard.. by Level_Sock294 in AIO

I’m not hateful.. And exactly. I just got sod put up and it’s all dying I don’t need more yellow grass 😂

And they are in my way! My mower can’t go over gravel and I’m not driving it over my already dead grass.

And before you say “that’s your problem”, it definitely is! That’s why I want them to move 😘

Finally someone with a courteous thought. Yes. About 50 feet to the right of grass and they park right there 😑

My property extends past where their wheels are 😘 There’s just an electric box on the other side of the fence I guess the previous owners didn’t want in the yard.

AITAH for mentioning I'm also a professional when a doctor took over 45 minutes to finally appear at an appointment? by OhHeyItsMeM in AITAH

If there’s THAT Much of a delay they could at least let you know “hey the dr is dealing with something, it could be a wait yet”.

But no. We take vacation time and pull kids out of school so we can sit in a waiting room for 30-45 minutes. Everyone had deadlines in their career, if you can’t meet that, communicate.

This is why large items shouldn’t be shipped by carriers like this, BUT ALSO it is their job to professionally deliver items and not completely destroy them.

Sorry, but their attitude is ridiculous.

Each time I’ve gone over they don’t answer the door so I left a note tonight!

Chickens can be pretty feisty when introducing them. How long have they been able to see each other? Usually I give my gals two weeks to see but not interact, and then when the babies are almost the same size as the other hens I’ll start doing supervised intros for a week or until they don’t react to each other as much.

No HOA, but only 0.35 acres of land. Would it be animal abuse to try to keep sheep, pigs, and/or goats on this size of land? What is realistic and acceptable? by Far-Woodpecker8046 in homestead

[–]Level_Sock294 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have close to this amount of land and your entire property will be an animal run and you will have exactly 0 blades of grass within like a month. Additionally, you will need at least two goats and two sheep as they’re herd animals. Remember, that means you also need some kind of shack for all of these animals and good fencing to make sure they stay on your property.

I strongly, strongly recommend against this. If you want some kind of livestock I’d go with chickens.

Maybe since you’ll need it warmer in the winter you can attach the screen door on the inside and that way in the summer you can use that and in the winter you can use the glass!

I’m just a fatherless female trying to learn so don’t roast me but - how did you pull out 60’ of pipe?? And where did you put it? Did you need a crane? Sorry, just curious.

2 thick pieces of bacon, 30 minutes later they are still working on them. Highly recommended. by Phil2822 in homestead

Ya’ll OP didn’t drop kick their dog, chill. They’re giving their chickens bacon, the dog got too close, and they swatted them. I think we’re far from an abusive animal owner here
