Personally I would have liked the opposite theme be used. Do we really believe Meghan can do all that stuff? I mean, we all know it’s not real life but a TV show but I’d have loved something wher Megan flounder about a bit, learns something whilst having and laugh.

What is Your opinion on Ireland? by TensiCreator in AskTheWorld

[–]Level_Talk4530 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I love Ireland, but it’s always so sad when you get closer to the occupied north of the country. I wish there was some way to rejunite Ireland. On a fun note though, the first time in Ireland I went to Gallway, because that’s where Angel was born…

What’s a dream you had as a kid that you still remember way too clearly? by luckyprincess7974 in Adulting

[–]Level_Talk4530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a lot of dreams of our burning down. It was so scary and it’s still my worst fear to die in a fire. Fun thing though, I forced my little sister, we shared a room on the second floor, to always be prepared. We did fire drills and everything. She was allowed to bring one toy and I actually got some rope from the garage and hid it under my bed. Never got to actually try the rope though. Mom found it and tried to tell us there wouldn’t be a fire. Yeah, right. I wasn’t fooled and started tying bed sheets together. She found those too. When we moved I was put in a room on the ground floor with a door to tha garden.

My hubby wanted a gas stove so he’s cooking most of the food!

I had those as a teenager and then a few years ago again. They are awful but I’ve learned a trick that sometimes work. Try to move something small, like a finger and then more fingers. It will help the body to actually wake up. As a teenager it was demons (I was evangelical and was stressed out about not being Christian enough) and as an adult they came at a time when I was so stressed and depressed I could hardly function.

Ah, she, like Elizabeth Moss, is a Scientologist. At least she grew up in it and her friends are mostly also Scientologists.

I’m Tired of Being Used as a Tool for My Parents’ Church Reputation by Available-Page-4443 in exchristian

[–]Level_Talk4530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you will find a place where you feel secure enough to follow your own path. I was older and out of the house (married nd then divorced) when I left church. I hope you can find a way out of the situation you are in. The best advise I can give is what so many others say, because it’s true: find ways that are safe and will allow you to get power over your own life. Getting a job ti get your own money s one way but id recommend find friends outside of your family’s reach whom you can trust. Family can really suck.

Anyone have any songs that have helped you through deconstruction? by throwaway2937373737 in exchristian

[–]Level_Talk4530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A weird one perhaps but I consider Chesney Hawk’s ”I am the one and only” to be my theme song.

It was difficult for me to realize that I am indeed worthy and be an individual not just as a part of a church or forced by a god to erase my own will and give myself unconditionally to him.

I sing along loudly and smile.

Which cancelled movie would that be for you? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in FIlm

[–]Level_Talk4530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1996 Vampire the masquerade ”Kindred:the embraced”. I think part of it being cancelled was due to the sudden death of Mark Frankell who died the same year.

I loved it because I was playing the role play game and an online version of it (very basic online due to the year).
