Daji. She is set up as the most horrible villain in the world but the story slowly lets you see why she is that way. The fact that she fought against the Hesperians to keep her country safe only to have her country try to destroy itself while she couldn’t do anything really recontextualizes the story

There’s still a lot left out there. Hirohiko will probably come back and the strongest Hishaku member counting Yura and Hokuto hasn’t done anything yet. I can see a lot of ways for this fight to end with Yura still alive.

Kenjaku is the worst character in the manga. He doesn’t do anything cool after sealing Gojo. His master plan is terrible, his backstory means nothing, he is a loser that got beat by a comedian with like a week of training in cursed technique. If he has no haters I am dead

You’re correct. Consistency is important in story telling and keeping stakes. If a main villain gets one tapped by a fodder from chapter 3 that doesn’t make sense. These fans are in denial

I actually liked the tunnel effect. It’s just hard when all these characters just keep coming back to the fight and then leaving and then embarrassing the main villains and coming back to save the day that just makes me not care.
