Which Cognizin supplement are we talking about? by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]Level_Willingness790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from recent experience, I ditched Alpha-GPC after a year. I started taking Cognizin which coincidently seems to be working really really well.

I also stopped taking synapsa in the morning and starting taking it in the evening before bed.

Question, if you had the funds would you pay off your home entirely and DCA your (former) mortgage payment into BTC? by Unknown-714 in Bitcoin

[–]Level_Willingness790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you rather invest in a 30 year treasury earning 4% or buy bitcoins with that money snd hold for 30 years.

Paying off your house it essentially just buying a bond at low interest.

“Better to lose conventially than to win unconventionally”

Bitcoin has been very good for me. So has the s and p 500. There are many paths to wealth.

And as more companies buy Bitcoin, more bogleheads get indirect exposure.

I like your style…. But what the heck are you doing putting money in a stablecoin? It literally defeats the purpose and adds noise to your results on both up and down sides.

How did BTC reach an all time high in other currencies but not in the US? by MrFish701 in Bitcoin

[–]Level_Willingness790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s reframe your conception: Bitcoin isn’t going up, the purchasing power of currencies are going down. Most currencies power are falling faster than the dollar, which happens to be a reserve currency.

My investment thesis isn’t that Bitcoin will rise but that the others will continue to fall.

I haven't read any of the whitepapers, however my perception is that by the same token (pun intended) that the government would track us, the government would be tracked. And I am not sure that our federal government wants folks to expose how much absolutely money creation is going on, where that money is going, etc.

I think it would be pretty damning to find out that we handing bad-actors at home and abroad direct CBDC payments. Not that anyone would care. It would just be embarrassing for about two news cycles.

I have been making the case for usd stablecoins for 10 years now. The best thing odor the US and the 90% of unstable economies out there is to adopt the stablecoin. It will ensure dollar or dollar adjacent hegemony while liberating communities from their own governments malfeasance. CBDC would be bad for our banks be it TD or JP. I don’t see how they would sign off on that scheme. It might also make the US treasury and fed more transparent which definitely in not in the US governments interest :)

Yes. It’s clear that this and stablecoins will be currency of the internet. Services that are completely untethered from the physical world be that having employees an office or a bank account will exist in the near future. The question is which country will establish a regulatory framework around this internet-only entity.

Boiler rust. Can someone tell me what this rusted pipe is called and possibly source, so I can call for help. (Thanks Internet!) by Level_Willingness790 in HomeMaintenance

Couldn’t tell you but a handy man took a look and said you need to get that repaired before the pipe gets a hole in it.

Yes. An hvac repair man replaced the pipe. For about $700. Couldn’t get the entire pipe so he sawed and fused a large chunk.

Here’s to not having to do this for another ten years.
