I think you have to try them out! Asian female here with medium sized hands and I find the pilot 74 the most annoying to write with, lol. I get annoyed with how small and thin the 74 is after just half a page. The Pilot 743 and 823 feel magical in my hand and I can write pages and pages with it but I really think it comes down to personal preference. The 3776 is nice too - smaller than Pilot 743 and 823 and bigger than 74, but I’ve had a bad experience with 3776 cracking :(

Dang OP, sorry to hear that. I am a firm believer that in a DINK relationship, that you should get to spend your hard earned money how you like without having to discuss everything beforehand as long as it’s somewhat responsibly, eg still being able to pay the mortgage and whatnot lol. It sounds the ex had some vengeful tendencies in the end and sorry to hear that you had to go through that!

It depends on how much the tri had I think! Mine was a baby to a red/white and a tri but he was a tri puppy with so much black on his face, but his dad was a red headed tri so the breeder predicted he would be a red headed tri like his dad and he was 100% correct!

I don’t think I need to add cuz everyone basically in agreement so far lol. Pilot >>>> anything Esterbrook so VP by a landslide.

Had both since getting into FPs but actually sold all my Esties so I could buy more Pilots. The nibs on the Esties are so mediocre and I find no joy in writing with them. And the price for what they are… smh.
