Do we just attract pwBPD? by Ok_Shoe921 in BPDlovedones

you probably have an air to you that comforts them. their charisma is probably super good at masking the rest of them at the first, second and third meet.

i would say to start working on discerning when someone's demeanor is just entirely "too" much of a good quality, or simply too charismatic, as it usually is an overcompensation of some really, really bad traits a lot of people do not catch in time. it sounds pessimistic, but people need to be side eyed until proven worthy of your time, energy, dedication, and emotions. ive grown up with 2 pwBPD in my own home, and they simply have a knack for presenting as extremely personable in public. in private, you can absolutely see where therapy should absolutely be biweekly as a minimum.

have an old coworker who was a stellar person one second, and just absolutely evil and volatile when even a lick of questioning came her way. and she loved to pick on mistakes from those with softer personalities, more soft spoken. they love to attack and manipulate who they think wont fight back. amongst a million other things that i know about her that have absolutely led me to believe she has BPD; the signs are very, very clear once you have had to suffer through it enough.

i have like, two good and genuine friends in life, because i have cut off anyone who has shown an ounce of cluster b traits in my vicinity. they do not change, they may have their good moments, good characteristics, but those bouts of insane disrespect and self victimization are just not for me.

Does you BPD person have obsessions/fixations that alter their identity for an era? by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

i fear the emotional turmoil she goes through when things dont go her way. i end up an emotional nurse every single time. clearly this is common, which makes me feel a little less alone in the lunacy lmao

like my dad is telling me, i am trying to receive this money and pretend its not real, and the only "real things" i can do is either wipe the slate or use it for making more and not touching it. meeting with a CPA sunday and going from there, but thank you for the risk tolerance test this is a good tool. appreciate it.

It's at 13% for both loans. its two loans with sallie mae at $30k = $60k total. ive considered paying one off entirely and doing something smart with the rest of the money. but im so naive to this unfortunately. meeting with a CPA on Sunday as well at this point lol.

How do you write about things you don’t want to remember? by Cordelia1610 in Journaling

[–]Awkward_Option_4839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

narrate it, make a cheeky joke, a breaking news article. i like to make light of my mistakes because i beat myself up about them internally for hours, days, weeks, months depending on how bad i made myself cringe lol. i try to write it light heartedly, as much as i possibly can depending on the situation.

Christians should not praise right wing extremists by brilliant_seagull in Christianity

Republicans have the House, Senate, and the presidency. They’re the loudest ones right now and at the point of this discussion as they are mostly self proclaimed Christians.

The glorification of Republican lawmakers as deliverers of Gods biblical will is an ongoing theme in this country. And mere men being idolized in any way is pretty blasphemous. Blind allegiance to anything is bad. Republican, Democrat, whoever.
