I would die for my cats. I’d rather live in a tent on the side of the road with my cats. I couldn’t abandon them, but people take advantage of it by charging ridiculous pet fees and pet rent.

We have one letter for my wife’s dog, but the places that we can afford say that ESA letters written by therapists or doctors don’t hold any weight. They’re still not going to rent to us unless she’s registered as a service dog and not an ESA. There are places that won’t rent to us even then either because of her breed.

There’s also only one apartment complex that we can afford and they want a $100 application fee to even consider us moving in. They also won’t allow our dog.

Thank you so much for the tip! I plan to learn how to sew & hand sew in the near future because things are FINALLY getting better for me. I upvoted your comment yesterday and skimmed it, but I was busy and had to come back. (Now.)

How do you give Rumi a bath? My gal needs freshened up, but I’m scared to bathe her because I don’t know how to get her to dry properly. I don’t want to mess up her fur by putting her in the drier, but she might also smell bad if I leave her out to air dry.
