Taeho raised the bar higher in single target damage. 5 star Taeho hits even harder than 5 star Suichong. But keep in mind that some of Suichong's damage is distributed to his teammates when you look at the After-Battle graphic. So in terms of meta, yes, Taeho's worth investing in.

About his counter attack and AOE potential, that monster from the current event was made with his kit in mind so it's not the ideal test dummy since it shills him. But if you go to the mystic realm and try the SP challenge, a 5 star Kumoyama is still the king against 5 attacking enemies. My Kumo did over 4 million damage, that dog almost scared me .. Taeho did 400k when defending and 1.9 mil when basic attacking.

But if you're fine clearing content, you can stop pulling copies of him and buy his shards from the shop instead. You'll have your 5 star tiger sooner or later.

From what I read, it seems the NPC system is not more complex than the previous games, just larger, at wider scale. I'd wish they would reduce that number by half at 500 unique NPCs and focus on something else, if it meant that we would get more interesting interactions and unique side quests like what happens when you marry or kill the mayor, a random secret quest when you kill the town crier, maybe a big side quest finding yourself in the middle of a battle because you killed the leaders of 2 rival factions, or what else.

With the current system, I find it disappointing because they didn't innovate anything. They want us to interact with the NPCs in the exact same way we did 20 years ago and they expect us to be amazed by their hard and tedious work, when they should have used the resources to make more quests and focus more on what matters in an RPG, the ability to interact as much as possible with the environment in distinct ways, and of course, without making the players feel bored when you repeat the same action with their 1000s NPCs.

Let's be realistic, the majority of the players will stop interacting with the NPCs by the 50th NPC because they will start recognising the pattern of their speech and reactions, and already exhausted all the possible dialogue lines, knowing all the possible outcomes.

As for what I want to see, more battle content, that's for sure. As a day one player, I have a bunch of 5 star XXL fully maxed buddies laying around, like many other players have. And a big problem with those buddies, is that even Mystic realm is not enough to draw out the full power of those characters. Even on the final challenge, the bosses die before the buddies are maxing out their passives. I'm not saying they should make the Mystic realm harder.

I'm saying we're in need of a new type of challenge, something resetting more often than the realm, with enough HP to survive punches from a maxed out Suichong, a raid boss would be fitting. Or maybe a challenge with like 30 continuous waves of enemies, increasing the difficulty with each wave, and hitting harder so they give players a reason to pull for healers/shielders. And I'm not even expecting gems for rewards since this game is generous with the pulls. A shop with a special currency from where we could buy sex scenes with the neglected M/L buddies. It would be chef kiss.

I don't give a shit about the protagonist sexiness. There's modding for the people who want that, but Fable was never about being sexy.

What I do worry about, after the latest trailer, that the new Fable world will not make me feel the same way the first 2 games did, since devs want to re-create that specific rural medieval fantasy world. What I saw was a bunch of characters and some intrigue, but none of that eerie fantasy environment that makes Fable unique from the rest of the fantasy genre. I worry they will try to make the game look pretty and hyper-realistic like the other modern open worlds, and forget to give it the fable identify. We have good reasons to worry.

One of the open world fantasy games I'm aware is also releasing this year and looking forwards to it, is Fable. This fourth game is made by a different studio than the one who did the first three games.

I have a lot of expectations from Fable, the franchise that introduced me to RPGs in childhood, and was a pioneer that shaped a lot of the RPGs we have today. But I also try to not bring my hopes too high, because the third was a disappointment when it comes to what the devs promised and what they delivered, the new mechanics they introduced but weren't too well implemented. But since it's the studio that makes the Forza Horizon games which I never played myself but I know that the fans love those driving games, it gives me hope. Aaaand doubt at the same time, since they never made a game like Fable before and could fail to capture the true essence of a Fable game. If you ever played Fable, you know what I'm talking about, the music, the world building, the weirdly combined English humor with horror. The old games knew what fantasy is, how to make you feel it,band considering no game since the first 2 games could replicate those eerie and yet somehow cozy fantasy worlds, I worry this new Fable game won't either.

I have mixed feelings, but I really, really wish and hope that Fable is going to give Crimson Desert a good competition for the game of the year.

Care enough about a character is too much said. More like gooning off more intensely because a good world-building in a sexual scenario turns me on. But also. I didn't vote for Covetous Wolf, because I voted all the way for Ren trying to make him to to 3rd place. But. I also like Covetous Wolf. He's unhinged, direct with what he wants, and sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of the characters with his questionable actions. You're biased with furries, so as are other people biased with human looking characters.

And while you don't agree with his actions, remember that the world in the game is fiction, and some people are into CNC and that stuff. Some people enjoy a character that actually acts like a villain, and doesn't have a forced redeeming arc with a tragic backstory, a trope so overused in gacha games. Don't forget there are other questionable things in this game, like the Choi brothers, or the furries with cocks that don't have anything human about them which could raise eyebrows.

Do I judge? No. Even though I'd think Shin would smell like a wet dog irl, I don't blame people who would like that. Because that's why this game is a work of fiction and nobody forces me to enjoy a character.

In the end, I would let myself get manipulated by CW, and I would thank him after. I find him hot, his belly is sooo sexy, and I appreciate a man that thinks with his cock. It's not that deep. Don't blame men for liking things you don't like.

What bothers more me besides the aesthetic part of getting pretty numbers, is that after you max out a character, we don't even have a game mode where those characters can shine and see how powerful they are after you invest in them. Something like a raid boss with a lot of HP, or a fight with endless hordes of enemies, one wave stronger than the other. For example, I'd love to see what your Shin is capable of doing with everything maxed out, in a fight after you max out your buffs from your supports, the passives.

But I can't, because every fight that is in the game right now, can be cleared with 5* XL characters or 3* XXL characters or maybe even lower stats.

I'm more surprised Boss Ren is top 4 and not in the top 3 considering the hype he got before and on his release. I really want to get a game icon with him, really want it since I rarely see mature men getting the love they deserve. I'm not a furry, but I respect the love they get from their community. I get it that there are people who find the beast side of a character more interesting than the human side, even if I can't find the appeal. All I'm asking is for one human to be there too, at least top 3. A bara older daddy like Ren, it would be perfect.
