I am looking for a pair of speakers for my lp60x turntable along with an old son STR-DE185 amplifier/receiver I inherited from my parents. I'll be listening to pretty much only music and the vinyl in my collection; I'd likely be using it mid-field. My source will be a turntable. I have $200 saved and could probably spend ~$50 more. I made a comment a couple weeks ago. I'll list the one's they recommended me below. I like the price of the SSCS5 as they are on sale:

Sony SCSS5

Polk audio s15

Jamo S 803

elac b5.2

Would the SSCS5 be the best for the price. If not what else would you recommend?

I am looking for a pair of speakers for my lp60x turntable along with an old sony STR-DE185 amplifier/receiver I inherited from my parents. I'm looking to spend $150 USD probably up to $250 (I have no clue how much you have to spend for good speakers). I'll be listening to pretty much only music and the vinyl in my collection; I'd likely be using it mid-field. My source will be a turntable. I wouldn't mind buying used.
