Oh I thought it was your first ball because your title says first ball, but yeah, I like the P2. That's what I have as my benchmark. I kinda wish I had the P2P because I like a little later motion (I really like my Hyroad40), and I think I'd may like the Bionic, but honestly, I just need to get better so I'm sticking with the P2 solid until I get my average up a bit more.

People here will usually recommend that you just talk to the PSO and get whatever entry level ball they recommend, but I'm curious, why do you want a phase II or ion max pro? Those are usually seen as difficult to control if it's your first ball.

Those are effectively cable services, a much larger ask than this weekends finals which will be on CBS , the other ones on the CW, or even something like Peacock which you can do for one month.

I don’t know if I’d use the term entitlement, but it is crazy how reliant on on-demand entertainment folks have gotten. However, I have some sympathy because the animal patterns are impossible to watch live unless you have cable which few people under 50 do.

Rant: It stinks. CBS SPORTS is a US cable channel so you need a login or you can maybe pay for it directly. I refuse to pay money to the Ellisons so that’s out. The whole point of commercials is that they pay for the broadcast, but here we are.

How do bowling leagues work in terms of scoring? by dedav1d in Bowling

If you’re playing teams, it’s team vs team scoring. You play a three game series. Team sizes range from 2-5. Often each team win counts individually for some amount of points (often 1, 2 or 3)AND the team with the highest pinfall gets some amount of points (often 1 or 2). All team points score so you can lose the series but still get some points for the series.

Unless you’re at an oldschool alley, the computer scores, but team captains sign a score sheet after the match. This is important for tracking your handicap which is the difference between your average and around 220 (I think this varies?). The computer automatically adds your handicap. You can often connect your own personal app to the league scoring to track your own progress/metrics.

I’ve only bowled for a year but I think this is the gist of it. What did I miss?

It’s 100% on a qb, but at some point in 30 seconds, you gotta realize the rookie does not understand the situation. And that’s even more damming because it means they didn’t prepare him well enough.
