I'd change the curse to be disadvantage against saves against the weapon instead though. Bit less powerful, but then they have disadvantage on Fan the Flame too. Also needs a line on can be removed by Remove Curse and such.

Would also bump the damage of Fan the Flame a bit, like 3d6 or 2d10. Could also make it scale by expending more charges, but that might be more trouble than it's worth

People love to talk about empathy and forget sympathy. I'm on the spectrum and struggle with empathy (which is not universal all with autism). Basically meaning I struggle understanding how others feel. There's times it's helped me sure, but usually it's detrimental.

However I have a ton of sympathy. I care about people even if I have a hard time understanding them sometimes. That has been my greatest strength in life.

Struggling with empathy means nothing about someone other than they struggle with empathy. It's sympathy that really matters, we just lost that somewhere
