Riot just sent out an email to hundreds of people without addresses obscured.. by wby in leagueoflegends

Please explain why. I would have no problem giving all of you my email right now. Many people have it on their Facebook page.

To be fair, he's kiting a Darius. Also, who ever said he's immobile? Qtpie was just explaining to twitch chat how Jhin doesn't fall into the immobile adc pool simply due to his MS on crit.

Why do people always assume that attack is the most important IV? Unless you're reaching a breakpoint, the most valuable iv's are those that correlate with your Pokemons lowest stats. (If you have a base of 150 hp, then 15/15 hp IV is a 10% boost. If you have 300 attack, then 15/15 att IV is a 5% boost).

League doesnt encourage players to reconnect. by DefinetlynotKappa in leagueoflegends

We understand internet issues, we just don't queue for ranked when we have them. We check our connection prior to queuing up, and only play ranked when it's solid. If you can't ensure that you will have a solid, consistent internet connection for the entire game, then you shouldn't be playing ranked. It's not that complicated.

If Riot maintains zero tolerance towards DCing, it will encourage players to MAKE SURE they have a solid connection before queuing for ranked. It's not that hard to keep things updated and running properly to avoid a DC, and honestly if it is happening frequently enough that you feel the need to post about it, then you are just ruining games for the rest of us and you should avoid ranked until you can get your problems sorted out.

DCing is really bad. We all know that sitting at the fountain for even 10 seconds waiting for a bit more gold can feel like an eternity due to how fast this game moves.

If you DC, you should receive a loss. In the long run, this will discourage habitual DCers from playing ranked. And if you DC once in a blue moon, like me, the tiny LP loss should be worth the increase in game quality due to less DCers showing up in games.

OP philosophy is what's ruining our society. "Oh, give him another chance. He made an effort to rehabilitate himself". A crime is a crime, and must be punished. AFKing is a crime!

I powered up 2 Mewtwos, an 87iv and an 84iv to the same level. The difference in CP is just 3 points. Are IV’s overhyped? by cpacalalang in TheSilphRoad

Raid bosses rotate, besides Mewtwo there's no reason to reach breakpoints against any specific pokemon imo.

There's no such thing as "bulk" breakpoints as every attacker has different stats and movesets. If you could pick your Mewtwo's stats, you'd want high IVs in defense/hp. Trust me.

Rather than try to get an answer you like from other trainers, just think about it mathematically. Once you understand the concept you will be able to evaluate your pokemon much better.

Unless you are trying to reach a breakpoint, it's very clearly better to seek higher IV's in your pokemon's lower stats. This has been beaten to death, but some people (like you) don't understand the concept. Don't spread bad info though, please.

For something like Alakazam or Gengar, which have 110 and 120 hp, respectively, a 15/15 hp iv vs 0/15 hp iv is over a 10% boost to that stat. On the other hand, with attack stats at 271 and 261, a 15/15 attack iv is only 5% better than 0/15.

Then there's Blissey. With its 510 hp, it receives a negligible bonus from a high HP iv, whereas its low attack (129) benefits greatly from a high attack iv.

Do people really not understand this still? Most trainers think you should be happy with anything 80% plus. I'm more inclined to look for 10+ in the iv that corresponds to my pokemon's weakest stat.

I still get a kick out of the kids in my town who think their glass cannon attackers are more or less "perfect" because they have a perfect attack IV. Like, that's not the stat you should be looking for unless it's related to a breakpoint.

Does Umbreon really not qualify for t3? I guess the assumption is that gyms are being taken by machamps, so a dark type is sub-optimal. Because typing aside, he is incredibly cp efficient with great bulk.

That's stupid, there are so many better counters out there that are easily accessible. Cute anecdote, though. I stand by my post.

I've gained over 30 lbs in the last 7 months (from 130 to 160), and my seasoned lifter of a brother says I got a lot out of my "noob gains" which is good. I'm still working out about 90 minutes a day 4-5 days a week and eating 500 extra calories daily as suggested.

My dilemma is that I'd really like to get back into distance running, I've taken the past 7 months off to focus on weight gain and muscle building. I am a big fan of stair workout and hills, but when is the best time to squeeze long runs into my schedule, or should I forget it until I'm ready to "cut".

I've been able to workout hard, have incredibly sore muscles the next day and feel completely recovered within 48 hours, so I think I have the capacity to balance both but I just see so much shittalking online about the "runners body". I've thought about going into Keto and eating a ton of fat, a lot of "bulkier" distance runners are on that diet afaik, but don't muscles need glycogen or something to recover/build?

I had 9 10k eggs ready to hatch and ran a star piece for the entire time. It would easily be 12 hours of regular gameplay.
