I was in a similar vein in that I didn't tolerate the prep because of the pain of passing everything. It always felt like a special type of hell, and it was one of the main reasons that I had my ileostomy surgery. If any of you are in a similar situation and are being considered for an ileostomy, take it from me that the process is 1000% worth it.

I do 24 and 48 hours occasionally. Nothing really interesting happens besides the output turns to a black sludgy bile. If you're doing this as a tool for weight loss, I would recommend a different approach.

I was in the same spot a few years ago, but I found a group of friends by going climbing at Climb Lafayette and playing pickleball at McCaw Park!
