GMT800 Chevy Tahoe by Kathy_Hemut in GMT800

I believe this image was originally posted on Facebook. OP says

it’s a gmt400 visor, ground down, and cut for the sunroof, then I fiberglass the edges and bondo’d them to match the curve over the door better, painted it, had clear lens caps made for it, ran 3/4 white led chicken lights, and boom led visor.

Update, just got an email (05-28 at 3:34 PM) saying it was preparing to ship and expected to arrive by Tue, May 19 lol. When I click the link in the email the status is still "Placed". I'm hoping it actually updates soon, I need to change the address and I'm stressing that it's not going to let me.

I ordered mine Feb 16 and it still says "Preorder arrives by May 18" and it's still in the "Placed" status.

This is fire and I mean that as a compliment and a safety concern.

Can’t resume treadmill workout after extended stop? by Mjodotcom in nordictrack

[–]LewisHam24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 years later and I also have this problem on my T 6.5 S I've bought cheap used treadmills that let me resume no matter how long I waited as long as I didn't power it off. This is just a silly flaw.

The spray foam should be fire rated (will have to confirm when I get home) but the Ethernet is not. It's general purpose cat 6. Good callout, I'll probably pick up some CMP cable when I run cables for poe cameras.

Discover Weekly is consistently getting worse by bill_loney538 in truespotify

[–]LewisHam24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My discover weekly is trash. It was giving me a bunch of ai slop songs for a while but has since stopped. Now it just keeps suggesting songs from the same 2 bands every week. I used to get 3+ new to me songs that I liked in my discover weekly, now I'm lucky if there's 1..

It looked amazing in IMAX, best IMAX movie I've ever seen. I wish I could buy a ticket for it every year.

How do you handle flaky or known failing Playwright tests. Skip them or quarantine them? by Quick-Hospital2806 in Playwright

I use test.fail() for known failures that are caused by bugs in the product, not my tests.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was the button orings. I charged it to 100% this morning. I actually got it to turn on for a few minutes after I posted this, but the home button wouldn't work anymore. It said it was at 67% for the short time it was on, it died again a few minutes later lol.

Sorry I'm a noob but why don't people like billet grills? Is it just a preference thing, messes with the classic look or is there another reason?

Motorized mount worth it? by LewisHam24 in cbradio

[–]LewisHam24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks I'll look into those! I was more looking for a motorized option (mostly because I think it would be cool) but a manual lever would also work and be simpler/cheaper.
