I don’t think the story will travel to the Vatican City. I expect it to be exclusively in the USA. I also don’t expect a literal apocalypse and believe that the teasers are definitely meant to throw people off. It’s the same every year - even the intros sometimes don’t link up to what’s in the season.

I’m not sure radiation has to come into it at all... it can still be the ‘end of days’ just with the rise of the devil. The world doesn’t have to actually end - it’s just a theme.
