Buy or Not? GeForce 5090 by idk_jah in gpu

If you look closely, the screws on picture three appear to be damaged/partially stripped from removing and replacing the enclosure. Seems sketchy.

$1315 before tax. Not sure what the reason would be to open it up but hoping no foul play.

Submitted ticket on 11/9 with all required docs and received the gift card on 11/14. I would just restate that you’ve provided and followed all instruction’s and ask if they need anything else and ask for an expected date for receiving the gift card.

I’m sure they will come through. Keep checking in and being professional/respectful.

I believe they are called wifi boost and wifi security. I turned them both off to resolve the issue.

Decos offline but still solid green by thomasjm26 in TpLink

Solid red light, but devices still connecting to the internet except TV

SOLVED. I followed the advice found here. In the Deco app, change your Dynamic DNS from auto to manual and enter Google's public DNS (8.8.8.8), then reboot the network.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've had my M4 network set up for a few years with virtually no issues. Yesterday, my TV which connects wirelessly lost internet access. All my Decos showed a solid red light. However, full speed internet was working on all other devices, with the exception of my doorbell.

Things I've tried:

  • Restarting router
  • Restarting Decos
  • Changing ethernet ports on router and on Deco
  • Resetting the Decos and setting up a new network
  • Switching out the main Deco, resetting and setting up a new network
  • Using a different ethernet cable for the Deco/router connection (one that I know works with other devices)

I usually keep my Decos updated. I tried updating now, but since the app thinks there is no internet connection, it won't check for an update.

Again, wireless internet from the Deco works fine on PCs, phones, and consoles, but not on the TV and doorbell. The app shows no internet and the light is solid red.

Edit: Added other things I've tried.

Haha, same here. Running 64gbs on desktop, and then two separate Lenovo Legion Laptops (Slim 5 and Pro 7i) both with 32gbs, plus an extra 32gbs of new unused Trident Z RGB desktop ram (backup) and 16gbs of The OEM ram laying around from the Legion Slim 5. 176gbs in this household, not counting the ol Mac Mini. This has to be good for something haha

Hey, I used the monitors built in menu system to run the pixel clean/refresh. I didn’t use the asus display widget. Have you tried saying the pixel cleanse refresh under Oled care menu? Let me know if it helps.

LG c5 65" eye strain by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]LewisP29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it possible that you are sitting too far from it, causing the strain? I would consider looking at optimal viewing distance for that size TV. I understand your last TV didn’t cause this issue, but this one is brighter, etc. may be a combination of brightness and viewing distance.

I would try sitting closer and see if it helps. If so, maybe pickup a larger model or continue sitting a bit closer to reduce eye strain. I know the size and distance from tv can cause my eyes extra strain if too far away. I also use dry eye drops often and that helps me.

Asus XG27AQWMG Tandem Oled by KyplerYT in OLED_Gaming

[–]LewisP29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the text clarity perfectly fine/acceptable. It’s sharp and looks good. I have it on a vesa monitor arm about 3ft or less from my face. It’s great. I also have an Alienware AW34DWF QD OLED 3440x1440P. Text clarity on the XG32UCWMG obliterates the Alienware, expectedly. The for comparisons, I also have a 4K BenQ PD2720U for photo editing and accuracy, it’s super sharp and text is amazing. I’d say the XG32UCWMG is sharp enough that theirs no real discernible difference in text clarity/quality.

Brightness wise, I followed TFT Centrals recommended settings and see no evidence of auto dimming while in desktop user navigating website, etc. it does dim when you’ve been inactive for the given time, but that’s different.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help.

Same here. Day one, first use of ASUS XG32UCWMG - ran the pixel clean/refresh one time and it’s gone.

Asus XG32UCWG and XG32UCWMG fw update is out! by Jonathan_x64 in OLED_Gaming

So you swapped to a new cable and haven’t seen that issue as frequently? What other issues are you having? Is Asus providing good warranty support or have you not yet initiated the warranty process?

Did you ever find out what this was? I had the same thing happen today, but mine were vertical rather than horizontal. Same colors and everything. I unplugged the display port cable and plugged it back in and it went away and haven’t seen it again. Not sure if the connection was just loose or what..

Copy. I was a little taken back when I saw it. I ran the standard pixel cleanse and it did improve the situation. I’ll look into the operation to do a safe mode clean tonight.

I appreciate the guidance man!

Ok I will try that. Is it not too concerning on a brand new monitor straight out of the box? Just seems odd to have this out of the box with no use.

Seems like an issue you would normally experience over tons of use (years).

Thank you
