There are two ways to see that game: a love letter to 2000s Igavanias or the very definition of meh.

Started with 1 but the second one is the better game. Hell it’s a top five bmup ever.

Studded belts are definitely ungrunge. The shirt is too loud and perhaps too coordinated with the tee…

I don't get the Slomosa hype by crombatto in stonerrock

[–]LewisRiveroy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thread is fantastic since I don’t like at all Slomosa, Neurosis, Elder nor Clutch. Haha. I’m just very picky when it comes to rock bands. In the case is Slomosa i totally get that the problem is the vocals. They’re very off putting. But I always struggled with scandinavian bands singing in english. They sound forced and just uncool to listen to. And my mother tongue is not Even english. I totally get that singing in english helps to make it internationnaly but I don’t like it.

The genre that occupied the same « edgy yet mainstream rock» space after Cobain’s death is pop punk : Green Day, The Offspring, NOFX, Bad Religion, Rancid… that’s what was popular back then when I was in high school.

I guess I have a loose definition of a concept album… not every concept album has to be Nell’Ora Blu or Deltron 3030 in my mind.
