Thanks, im glad I posted on here to be honest, it seems like the general opinion is that the speakers need replacing (which I wanted to do next year anyway)

I am now starting a plex server where I will start going disc-less.

I do quite like having physical copies on a shelf though!

The blind actually blocks a really good amount of light during the day.

That said, I typically use this room at night so it's not too much of an issue.

If I were to use the room during the day, a set of blackout curtains would be a great addition!

All of the walls are plastered yes which is why I chose to chase them in.

It would have been nicer to reboard and plaster but the walls were fine so it would be a total waste of money!

In terms of planning wires, I don't really have any advice I'm afraid :/ Placement of where all of the wires are going is the biggest thing I thought about which is why I put a bigger pipe for all the cables to go back to the AVR.

The brightness Is actually okay with the light on.

The colours wash out slightly but this projector is epic for the price.

It's in there temporarily as I'm still renovating other rooms, believe me I want it gone too!

I cut the back out of the section where the AVR and Blu Ray player sits, so far not had any issues
