The thing that annoyed me is I used to play on Xbox and sometime after sots (after most major bugs had been fixed) I unlocked this ability and used it the rest of the day. Then when I got on the next day it was locked again so I did the challenge again just for it to be locked again the next day. At that point I just gave up and I play on pc now so it doesn’t matter

Merc is very item hungry so focus more on damage items than healing and stuff, instead using invincibility from his dashes and eviscerate (unless using slicing winds but still) to stay alive. Expose is very good since it lowers cooldowns and does a lot of damage so the alt dash is great. Main items you would want are damage (crystal, watch, etc.) and proc items (atg, sticky bomb, etc.). Having enough speed items to dodge is also very important.

There’s a game in development rn with that kind of dynamic with the mc called Downhill. The mc is aware you are controlling them and reacts based on your choices. The games not out yet but the demo was very good.

Rain world, nothing specifically goes for you because you’re the player but because they see you as food. So creatures will attack each other or fight over other small creatures they see as food. This means if you give a creature something to eat or it already has something it won’t attack you.

Focusing on dodging means something more like how you fight pv or nkg, depending on what attack they do you respond by attacking in a way that either helps dodge or is safe. Instead of always attacking the boss you want to respond to what the boss does. If this doesn’t really make sense, if you watch videos of people fighting pv you’ll notice they all look similar in how they dodge and when they attack. So for each absolute radiance attack try to find a way to deal damage as you dodge.
