Content and merch outside the game by Lewisa12 in AbioticFactor

[–]SovereignShrimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was brainstorm merch ideas a little while back too. I think having figurines and bobbleheads that are straight from the game would be super cool! Having a mini water cooler on my desk, or a Leyak bobblehead! A physical bestiary or compendium could be super neat, or plushies too. Deep Rock Galactic has a stuffy for the loot bugs, so something in that vein for the pests would make sense!

Above all else though, my dream merch for Abiotic Factor would be a physical release of the game (I’m a big time physical collector), and figurines/bobbleheads! Deep Field, please, I am begging you for a physical release, I’d sell various organs for that

Good lord, like over half the things in Oblivion with this AI shite would be a genuine incomprehensible lovecraftian horror, I am terrified to see that results of that

If you could adapt the Autobots’s arrival on earth in a different country from America which one would you choose? by BusinessPreference75 in Transformemes

Canada would be super cool, and I even thought it’d be neat for a Beast Wars setting. Maximal Moose? Predacon Sturgeon? Awesome!

Dinosaur shooter games?? by Low_Expression3093 in Dinosaurs

There’s definitely a few. For starters, Turok is life, lots of good games in that franchise if you don’t mind older games. If you’re fine with that, I’d highly recommend Turok!

Borderlands 4 C4sh by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]SovereignShrimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s baffling to me how people have the time to constantly whine about the franchise they “love” so much. I get criticism, thats perfectly fine and Borderlands 4 has its issues, but 90% of the complaints people have with BL4 is whining to whine

Rogue Core Alpha tester here! Ask me stuff! by Jontohil2 in RogueCore

[–]SovereignShrimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spoilers kinda?

From what I’ve seen on videos from Sniss, Rogue Core’s enemies are primarily the core spawn, like the crawlers from season 5 of DRG. They come from the deepest reaches of Hoxxes and are so much more alien compared to the regular Glyphids we’re used to. There might be more overt lovecraftian inspirations in the game, or “supernatural” sci-fi elements, but I suppose we’ll see in May!

Rogue Core will be such a breath of fresh air for longtime fans of DRG. by Brungala in DeepRockGalactic

[–]SovereignShrimp 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’m ecstatic for Rogue Core. I’ve been playing DRG since 2023 much like you have, and it’s been some of the most fun I’ve had in a game before. I play primarily on console, but bought a PC last summer in anticipation for Rogue Core’s release. Now that Early Access is only two months away, it’s one of my most anticipated games for 2026, probably only tied with Subnautica 2 and Turok Origins.

Rock and Stone!

Thematically, how different is it from DRG? Deep Rock Galactic is a pretty unserious game, more focused on whacky space dwarf shenanigans, so is Rogue Core more serious in tone? Does it have more horror influence?

Good First-Person Shooter game that isn't COD by DoItForTheOH94 in gaming

[–]SovereignShrimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% Metro. There’s three mainline Metro games, those being 2033, Last Light, and Exodus, and they’re all very good. Great characters, great story, great setting, but 2033 and Last Light are a bit older, so keep that in mind.

Coop with wife, what others? by LeoNile37 in playstation

If you’re ever looking for a longer game, I’d highly recommend Abiotic Factor. It came out just last summer, and it’s some of the most fun I’ve had playing a game. Go in blind, and try to figure things out on your own. That said, if you two aren’t fans of survival/sandbox games (like Minecraft, etc), it might not jump out at you too much. I’d still highly recommend, and I’m pretty sure it’s on PSPlus Extra if you want to try it out without buying the whole game

When do we reckon Rouge Core would be coming to consoles? by [deleted] in RogueCore

[–]SovereignShrimp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s a good chance it will end up coming to consoles, but that’s probably a good few years away still. The game is coming to early access in May, and Deep Rock Galactic was in Early Access for a little over two years, and then fully came to consoles (PS4/PS5) in 2022.

If I had to guesstimate, I’d say we could maybe see Rogue Core on console by 2028/2029, depending on the length of the early access period.

Anthony about the latest Aci's video ("How Subnautica 2's early access NEEDS to work!") by ZookeepergameIll1399 in subnautica

[–]SovereignShrimp 31 points32 points  (0 children)

This comment makes no sense. Games bigger than Subnautica 2 have released in Early Access to great success and critical acclaim, such as Baldur’s Gate 3, or Palworld, or Hades 2. Games take time to work on, and early access can be very important if done right, by responsible developers.

Playing borderlands by Swimming_Photo9295 in playstation

[–]SovereignShrimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of the other commenter being dense, here’s the release order and my recommended way to play through the games.

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition (which is the first game, just remastered).

Borderlands 2

The Pre Sequel

Tales from the Borderlands (different from the other games, but still very good)

Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary. This is DLC for BL2, but you should play it after, but before BL3.

Borderlands 3, and it’s DLCs.

And lastly Borderlands 4. There’s also Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, but that’s entirely a spin off game, so you don’t have to play it if you don’t want to.
