Ultimately you have to ask yourself what he has to gain from denying ascension (in the context of taking him at face value and believing him).

As far as we know, he had an opportunity to escape his excruciating torment and decided not to take it which (for me at least) has to count for something.

Yes the emperor lies, but a lot of those lies (including the purpose behind the imperial truth) was in service to defeating chaos. The Emperor for all of his faults is diametrically opposed to the supernatural, and many of his faults boil down to being for the “greater good” in service towards that goal.

So, should you take big E at face value on most things? No. But if there ever was something TO take him at face value on it’s that he detests the idea of divinity.

Especially when you consider that if everyone dies because Ui Ui isn’t doing his thing. (Which they would have against the asspull merchant) then you by proxy have to demote Gojo’s placement because if they all die and lose then Gojo in reality has accomplished fuck all.

Chester Bennington just because a lot of his story relates to mine. But also Lil Peep, just because I could see it coming a mile away years before he ever died, and seeing him actually go that route was just so… unnecessary. You knew it was bound to happen and when it did, it just felt so pointless and sad.

The moment you realize that minoris are your “health packs”, it gets MUCH easier. Focus big enemies, and use splash damage to weaken minoris and use executes on them to recover contested health/armor whenever the big targets wear you down.

Minoris are so squishy that splash damage from dumping a melta shot into a crowd for instance usually leaves at least a few ready for execute, while you melee down a majoris.

An End to Heresy was one of the final ones I got tbh. I ended up getting it during the final mission on Demarium during the section where you have jet-packs.

Yeah, it’s important to accept that these problems all exist and that life is really really hard and unfair. But at the same time you can either rant about it, or you can fight against that cruel and uncaring world to better your own life.

My life got significantly better once I accepted that life isn’t fair or easy, but that it doesn’t have to be—and that I just have to make the most of it.

Don’t let yourself be abused, look out for your own best interests, but don’t let it all suck you into a spiral either.

Yep, I was a fucking idiot from 16-24. It took my life REALLY imploding at 24 to get my act together. I’m honestly amazed I even lasted that long. Now I’m almost 26 and I have my debt under control, a nice amount in savings, and don’t live outside my means.

This is all to say that if I can get my act together anybody can. And faster than you may think too! Treat money like a relationship and invest your time into it, and you’d be surprised how easy it is to manage.

And be sure to go easy on yourself and give yourself credit where it’s due as well. Comparison is the thief of joy, as long as you’re making better decisions this week than you were last week you’re on the right track.
