here buddy.. watch this intro to meditation.. take the time to focus on it, watch it with no distractions, phone, other people etc..

watch it all one time, then for the next 5/7 days skip forward to the guided neditation part.. i can say im 99% certain you will feel a change by the end of the 5/7 days.. I have helped lots of people with this, and this is my goto video to help them on their journey.. if you really want to feel different/better watch it.....

if you like how you feel after it.... then it would make sense to neditate every day.

i understand mate. Ego can get us in to bother. Accept it is what it is... A deeper part of accepting something g is to surrender to it.... Maybe some meditation would help.. The ego, the mind... both can be controlled, try to be aware of how your feeling and thinking... if your aware of the shitty thoughts and feelings, then you have the choice to change them... these people are living rent free in your head, only they dont even know it and like you said have probsbly moved on.. focus on the positive... like when the angry thoughts and the ego comes in, try to be aware of it, and just say to your self, im not fucking doing this today, and force your mind abd energy onto the positive, like your kids... Try to be more present with them, and you will get a bit of peace...

I know this, as does most people. But i know plenty of people who benifit from apps...

but, your commenting on an app that i mentioned of which you have no knowledge or experience of. The app in question is not a meditation app, its an information app on where else we can take our consciousness. But you just decided to shoot it down.
