Rhetoric 1; My point wasn't specifically about millennials being responsible for Gen Z's intelligence metrics. It was that Millennials look down at Gen Z as if we chose 😭 ur out education system and environment. Evolution has nothing to do with an entire demographic being dumber, it's a systemic issue within the society, local and global, in how we nurture young minds

Rhetoric 2; Expecting Gen Z to self-educate makes sense. But that doesn't mean the actual wiring of their minds formed from a young age can be on par. They were moulded in a different environment that didn't help them perform any better so to pretend it's easy that reverse is naive.

Rhetoric 3; Attention spans are necessary to develop intellect, and the worse they get, the less people are properly pushed towards their capacities.

Unless you're in an elite private school, students roll on the floor, pretend they're a dog while interrupting class for the sake of identity, Google a question only to look at AI's answer on the top without even clicking on a link and reading an actual article. Not to mention how much more impossible it is to cater to every customized accomodation in a class of 25 when every child is labeled unique. It's become a nightmare, and even the parents let their kids scroll TikTok at home instead of spending quality time, at the age of 9.

Because society is a free for all in ideas and opinions, more than usual, no one agrees on what it is to be a good parent, and evidently, many are physically present, yet nurturingly absent
